Confessional: I suffer from wanderlust.

Wanderlust is defined as a strong desire to travel and boy do I have a strong desire to travel. As an introvert and self-described homebody my need to travel sometimes wars against my personality, but I'm thankful that traveling usually wins. Many of my favorite memories are from trips I've been on. I love exploring new places and trying new foods. I love experiencing different cultures from my own. I even love planning trips.

I have traveled to three continents and multiple countries, but would love to see many more. I'm thankful to have been able to live in Germany for three years and to have been able to travel to Africa to pick up my sons.

Right now traveling is almost impossible and it may stay that way for a while, so I've been contenting myself with dreaming about all the places I'll be able to visit once it's safe to travel again.

I would love to take a road trip through Canada, camping at their national parks. Canada is an incredibly beautiful country and within easy driving distance for my crew. Hopefully we would be able to see the Northern Lights, which is on my bucket list.

I also want to do a drive down the West Coast to California. I hope this will happen next summer. My husband and I will be celebrating our 20th anniversary next June and would love to celebrate at Disneyland. We went to Disney World for our honeymoon, so it would be lovely to celebrate our 20th at Disneyland with our sons.

A few other, bigger wishes on my list are: hiking Machu Picchu, vising the Galapagos, walking across the UK, and I would love to spend a couple of months exploring Australia.

Sadly none of these will be happening in the next few months, but hopefully some day!

Where to you want to travel?

Stay safe!

Lana
